I am married to my best friend, Wayne. We raised five children and we're very proud of them. We also have seven grand children and four great-grand children. I used to work for a major software consulting firm as an account rep. I now take care of my husband, sell Avon products, train our dog and enjoyed showing her in agility, obedience and lure coursing. My profits from selling Avon helps pay for my "habit" showing and dog training.
We are very proud of our dog Olivia as she has won many titles in agility and obedience. We are especially proud that she was invited to the AKC National Obedience Invitational in Orlando Florida in December 2012. She was first place in the large Toy Group and was in the top ten of the 126 dogs of all breeds from 23 states and Canada. Olivia was first place in the Toy Group in the NOC (AKC National Obedience Championship) and in the top sixteen of all breeds shown. She has been "invited" to every national competition since getting her UD title in 2012. Olivia is a blast to show, she really has fun in the ring. She has gotten her OTCH (Obedience Trial CHAMPION) title and is now working on her OGM (Obedience Grand Master) title. When she gets it she will be the first Yorkie in the history of the breed to attain the OGM title. But the journey is the fun part. Wayne and I travel to the dog shows together, he films Olivia in the ring and is our strictest critic, but always supportive.
My husband and I like to travel, ride our motorcycle to rallies and visit our children, grand children and friends. We enjoy riding on our Harley Ultra Classic. I considered getting my own bike, but I really enjoy being the "navigator". Olivia is our third Yorkie to ride in a motorcycle pet carrier. We got the carrier for Annie, who lived to be 19 years old. We could not leave her when we went on long rides, so we got the carrier to take her with us. It worked great and is very safe for the dog. We were traveling with our Yorkie Sidney (who loved to ride more then anything) and had an accident. Wayne ended up in the hospital and needed surgery. I had minor cuts and bruises and road rash (had stone chips removed from my arm at the hospital). But Sidney had no injury at all.
