Missouri State HOG Rally 2005
The picture above and below were from the convention center in Cape Girardeau.
The next set of pictures are of our All American Sport travel trailer which is a toy hauler, with Judy and "Sidney" one of our Yorkies.
Most of the people at our campground were there for the HOG rally. The following pictures of some of their bikes and other interesting vehicles.
Judy and I were out riding and she thought that a picture of me on our bike by the bridge going over the Mississippi river would be interesting (below).
They had this parade of bikes at the rally and it seemed that everybody in town turned out to watch. Here are the bikes staging for the parade.
At the end of the rally they had a bike show and shine, these are pictures are of the winners in each of the classes:
The following pictures are of some of the awards and prizes which were given out.
While at the rally we would see this bike which was almost identical to ours. I know you wouldn't want to see other bikes like your own at every corner, but since we had never seen another bike like ours, this was kind of neat. The bike with the black helmet on it belongs to this other chap.
If you notice the gas tank on the bike on the right (below) has a picture painted on the left side of the tank. It is a picture of this fellow's wife who unfortunately died shortly after they bought the bike.

The following are a pictures of Fred and his bike. He is a interesting fellow Judy and I met at the rally, he's retired Air Force and lives in California.
We had a great time at the Missouri Rally, met a lot of good people and did a lot of great riding.
