It's Not Just For Sight Hounds Anymore!

Lure Coursing just opened up for all breeds a few years ago. It's not just for Sight Hounds anymore! Olivia was one of the first Yorkies to go for it. As far as I know, they all love it. Yorkies were bred to be ratters and of course they love running after the lure. Olivia Q'ed in a regulation Lure Coursing trial, but will probably never finish her title. Since she had an injury, we are very concerned about over doing it, and placing undo physical exertion on her. Lure Coursing is especially hard on the dog's shoulders because of the very sharp turns and Olivia had torn ligaments in her shoulder from agility.

Olivia really enjoys lure coursing, she gets so excited she can hardly wait for her turn.
